This Saturday, 8th of June the Soapbox Science Event will take place at Holzmarkt from 3 pm to 7 pm. The idea for this event originated from the speakers corner during Victorian times in London’s Hyde Park where people debated about democracy, politics and ideas standing on a soapbox. Aim of Sopabox Science is to give easy access to MINT subjects and make female and non-binary researchers more visible. The event is also seeking to inspire enthusiasm for research and science among passers-by.

MSc Ahuvit Trumper from our working group will give a talk tilted „From afar, the map is too big?“ at 6 pm.
