The FoSReCs team participated and presented their proposed research titled ‘Enhancing Food Security through Integration of Climate Resilient Crops in Maize based Farming Systems among Small-scale Farmers in Zambia and Namibia’ at the SASSCAL 2.0 kick-off meeting held in Windhoek, Namibia on 22-23 March 2023. This brought together partners from Zambia, Namibia, South Africa and Germany for the first time.

Following this, a virtual kick-off meeting of the FoSReCs partners was held on 04.04.2023 with 7 partners from all 4 countries involved in the project. This was a time for formal introduction, partners ambitions and progress, toward a common goal and measurable achievements.
