At the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft 2024 (LNdW, long night if science), the Sedimentary Systems group presented two projects to the interested public: Sands under the microscope and a virtual sandbox. Both projects fascinated young and old alike.

Special thanks to Laura for the great organization. Especially the interactive virtual sandbox under the guidance of Lars Uhl attracted many young future geoscientists. Thanks to the engagement of many student helpers the event was a success!
