Move Suite

Petex is a petroleum engineering and structural geology company based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom that develops software tools. The Move suite is the most complete structural modelling and analysis toolkit available. It provides a platform for integrating and interpreting structural data, cross-section construction, 3D model building, kinematic restoration and validation, geomechanical modelling, fracture modelling, fault response modelling, and fault and stress analysis.

Petex has kindly provided us with 10 educational licenses of the MOVE suite in 2023 - 2024, representing a donation of £1,872,218.26 worth of software to the University. The Tectonics and Sedimentary Systems group at Freie Universität Berlin would like to thank Petex for this generous donation, which will greatly support our research and teaching.
