BMBF Research Program “Mittelfristige Klimaprognosen” (MiKlip)

The MiKlip project STRATO (The role of the stratosphere for decadal climate prediction), coordinated by U. Langematz (FUB) is a joint project of FUB (U. Langematz), DLR (M. Dameris). For example, STRATO investigates the role of stratospheric variability on decadal time scales on the climate system, and hence will provide valuable input of the most important natural forcing on the interannual and decadal variability of the BDC.
