ACP S&T - E-Learning Network Africa
From 21.11.-25.11.2015 partners from Africa and Europe conducted a workshop to prepare a project proposal submitted by the EU ACP Science and Technology Programme: 'ACP S&T - E LEarning Network'. Partners were the Kenyatta University, the United Nations University, the University of Yaounde I, University of Cape Town, Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and IWM Expert GmbH. The elaborated project concept has the target course to strengthen the skills and competencies of all actors in the field of natural resource management: Capacity building, research and development, project management. A new approach of capacity building is introduced: 'living laboratories' may offer all stakeholders the possibility to develop and carry out projety and to learn from each other. A result was the successful fundraising of the projetct 'Integrated Watershed Management Research and Devlopment Capacity Building' within the DAAD programme 'Welcome to Africa'.
