Where is the water coming from?
Freshwater is accounting glaciers and ice caps, groundwater and surface water, inclusive other freshwater. The global freshwater available (where we have direct access to) is ice and snow, soil moisture, water from lakes, swamps, rivers, biological water and atmospheric water. The total amount of available freshwater is only 1.3% of the global freshwater which is only 2.5% of the total global water.
Freshwater available is seems to be infinite, but since it is a very small percentage of the global water it needs special attention at!
