- Combining advanced thermodynamic modelling of phase equilibria in rocks to coupled fluid-flow reaction modelling [15, 16].
- Development of new concepts in thermodynamic modelling of minerals and theoretical calculations of phase equilibria [8,11,14,18]
- Coupling diffusion to mechanics [17].
- Integrating regional scale mapping with detailed outcrop and thin section scale mapping [1, 4, 7, 10].
- Trace element (LA-ICP-MS) [5] and isotope geochemistry (Rb-Sr) and radiometric dating (Sm-Nd, U-Pb) [1, 7], and Raman spectroscopy [2].
