Slurry lab

Slurrying is a process for obtaining microfossils. Here, fossils larger than 0.063 mm (nanofossils) and smaller than about 2.0 mm (macrofossils) are obtained as sieve residue from a sediment sample.

Slurrying is a process for obtaining microfossils. Here, fossils larger than 0.063 mm (nanofossils) and smaller than about 2.0 mm (macrofossils) are obtained as sieve residue from a sediment sample. The finer sediment is washed away with running water.
