Interactive Map for Jezero Crater featured at EPSC 2022 Press Briefing

During the press briefing on Sep, 21 at the Europlanet Science Concress (EPSC) 2022 Sebastian Walter from the Planetary Sciences and Remote Sensing Department presented the virtual hiking map for Jezero crater, the landing site of NASA's Mars 2020 Perseverance rover. Prospective Mars explorers can now take a hike around the landing site with an interactive map loaded with orbital imagery, terrain data as well as synthetic and real 3D panchromatic views of Jezero crater and its surrounding area.
