At the Institute of Meteorology it is recommended to use Gitlab for documenting and working on the thesis. There is a comprehensive guide (in German) on how to set up the Gitlab environment for students. Further down you can find citation examples on how to cite with natbib(plainnat), which is the recommended citation style for the B.Sc and M.Sc. thesis.
To manage your literature, we recommend literature management programmes such as Citavi (in German), EndNote (free of charge for FU members, in German) and Zotero (free of charge for everyone).
>> Tip: Do you use Zotero? Then download the Zotero citation style "natbib(plainnat) with BibTeX/LaTeX" here!
1. Do I have to cite my source again after each sentence? Or is a citation at the end of the paragraph sufficient?
2. What if there is no suitable citation template for my source?
