Introduction
This course introduces you the possible geomorphological responses to climate change.
The course explains the dynamics of interactions between climate change and Geomorphology. There are various changes that occur in climate, both long-term changes and short-term fluctuations that affect geomorphic systems. Changes can occur in temperature, precipitation, wind and radiation variables. The geomorphic response will depend on the systems including the aeolian, glacial, fluvial, coastal and slope processes, as well as on the magnitude and frequency of the events.
